Funder Approval

A Funder Approval is the final step in the Instrument Approval Workflow and refers to the authorization granted by a funding entity for a particular transaction or action involving financial instruments. 

  1. Navigate to “Finance Approval” section

    1. If you belong to the first layer of approval as the approver “Maker”: click on the Funder Approval (Maker) 

    2. If you belong to the second layer of approval as the approver “Checker”: click on the Funder Approval (Checker) 

  2. A table view will include all Instruments requiring review and approval on the Deal Manager/Funder side

Review Instruments

  1. Click on the Instrument reference number to open the Instrument Card. 

Whether you are fulfilling the role of a Maker or Checker, the review process remains the same.  

You will be able to review the most important details relating to the Instrument and download attached supporting documents: 

  • Instrument Detail: reference number, programme, deal, payer, seller, etc

  • Supporting Documents: review uploaded documents or attach a new one

  • Lending Summary: funding window and pricing applied, repayment date

  • Payment Forwarding after Payment Settlement: Net Unfinanced Balance Payment to Seller

  • Total Fee Split Summary: fees split by type (Interest rate, fixed fee, late payment fee)

  • Seller Fee Split Summary: portion of fees paid by Seller

  • Payer Fee Split Summary: portion of fees paid by Payer

  • Annualised Fees 

  • Additional Charges

  • Annualised Fee % Split Summary: annualised fee % split between Payer and Seller 

  • FX Details: FX Rate Template and applied rate (will be updated at the moment of funding)

  • Seller Details: which company is the seller/supplier, business description and industry

  • Payer Details: which company is the payer/buyer, business description and industry

  • Programme, Deal and Counterparty Limit Utilisation: shows limit split between Programme, Deal and Counterparty
